Sunday, Fort Lauderdale, 3pm
This photo was taken in Florida in the thirties. The man is my great uncle Jim Tranter who was an owner of Fasig-Tipton, the thoughbred auction house.
My aunt and uncle led a great life with a house in Florida, an apartment in New York, limos, etc. My aunt Kitty is on the far right, the lady next to uncle Jim
is my dad's mother, Betty. I am not sure who the far left lady is. This is a fun piece with silk flowers on the hat and organza making the shadows on the skirts.
Painted tissue, silk flowers, organza, acrylic paint, xerox copies, paint sticks, cotton duck
